Re: [Suggestion] group and declare as constants all supported values of Parameters

Addendum: I put you into the developer group on Sourceforge. That should give you access to the SVN. You need to check out using https, otherwise you will not be allowed to chek in your changes using your sourceforge username and password. I also reconfigured the Wiki to allow everybody to modify an...

Re: [Suggestion] group and declare as constants all supported values of Parameters

Hello Jan, I guess the suggestions/patches are better than just requests anyway ;) Yes - they are. I am happy about that situation. Applying patches instead of hunting down things myself is much better :D Yep, talk with the guy of course. Soo - I talked to him. In the end he suggests this: have one...

Re: [Suggestion] group and declare as constants all supported values of Parameters

Hello Fr0st, you really seem to eat up my ressources with all your changes. ;) I only have a maximum of one hour per day that I can spend on Zeos. :( Getting back to this topic: Let me talk with the guy who kept Zeos alife for the past years. I value his opinion. I assume, I can call him today or to...

Re: [Suggestion] group and declare as constants all supported values of Parameters

Hello Fr0st, I do like that Idea to a degree. But imho the even better way would be to document the available parameters in a kind of manual. I started a new approach to a manual. The current verion can be downloaded in the files section. Also I started documenting parameters in the Wiki. See https:...

Re: How can I create a user-defined function?

Hello Pastor, indeed that seems to be hard. You would have to Query the TZConnection object for the IZConnection interface. You can do that With TZConnection.DbcConnection. That one should be an IZSQLiteConnection interface - so cast it. It most probably doesn't have a method for connecting user def...

Re: Android, IOS + sqlite

Hello CC_,

currently Zeos doesn't work on the Delphi Nextgen compiler. So Zeos on Android wirh Delphi doesn't work currently.
Freepascal on Android should work though because the compiler works the same on all architectures.

Re: How can I create a user-defined function?

Hello pastor, user defined functions in Firebird have nothing to do with the client program and Zeos. If you want to extend the firebird database with other functions, you need to write a dll/so and register the functions in your database. The following ressources might help you: https://www.firebir...

No E-Mails from the Forum

Hello members, Sourceforge has stopped supporting the sending of E-Mails by php scripts. This means the forum software cannot send any E-Mails for notifications about topics or about password changes and the like. We are investigation a solution but that probably will take some time since this requi...

Re: [Request] Support INSERT...RETURNING transparently

Hello mobilevil, no - it probably isn't a junior task. But as I said - everybody else is tied with other projects - even other projects on Zeoslib. So if you want to try it, I could answer your questions and try to guide you. Support for GUIDs in PostgreSQL has been implemented in a similar manner. ...

Hello cipto_kh, Still error here. Same error. Marsupilami, maybe you can copy your pg_hba.conf here so I can test it here. This is the relevant part of my pg_hba.conf: # Database administrative login by Unix domain socket local all postgres peer # TYPE DATABASE USER ADDRESS METHOD # "local"...

Re: ZeosDBO 7.2.1 and PostgreSQLL pg_hba.conf error

Hello : ) I am no expert at IPv6. But I would assume something like this if you want all the internet to be able to access your server: host all all ::0/0 @authmethodhost@ This *should* be similar to your other line for IPv4: host all all 0.0.0.0/0 @authmethodhost@ After reading Wikipedia, the follo...

Re: ZeosDBO 7.2.1 and PostgreSQLL pg_hba.conf error

Hello cipto_kh, the postgresql message says ist all: fe60::53ba:3145:28f3:84fa is an IPv6 address. You didn't specify anything for IPv6 addresses in your pg_hba.conf. You probably should at least add a specification for your link local IPv6 addresses if you want others on your subnet to be able to u...

Re: Package Delphi 10.2 Tokyo

Hello moscomx,

the package is for Zeos 7.2. But it is only the package file. You also need to check out the current version from SVN.
